Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the role of Capital Raising – U.S. Renewables. The ideal candidate must have a strong sell-side track record with investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, family offices, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and close transactions with investors, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
• Maintain and foster ongoing relationships with investors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to structure transactions that meet investors’ risk and return profiles.
• Clearly articulate the U.S. renewables market, particularly the Texas ERCOT battery storage market.
• Communicate LXI Capital’s competitive advantages in commodity trading, hedging, innovation, the global supply chain.
• Have a working knowledge of U.S. infrastructure transaction structures (e.g., partnership flip and sale-leaseback).
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of sell-side investment banking and private placement experience, with relevant transactions closed in the past six months.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a global environment.
• High level of accountability, independence, and responsibility.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach.
Candidates should currently be working as lead sell-side professionals in boutique private placement agencies, have closed similar transactions recently, and be capable of managing the entire sales cycle independently.
Successful candidates can expect significant growth opportunities and potential equity ownership in the company. Upon closing the first round of equity raising, candidates may choose to: A. Focus on equity raising for other portfolios, OR B. Continue with the current portfolio, leading debt financing, tax equity investors, and project/portfolio sales while assisting with operational build-out.
Compensation:
Base pay plus performance-based bonus and equity opportunities.
